APA Guidelines

apaFollowing the APA guidelines is going to be a challenge for me. That is easy to see! I have never been good at memorizing language arts rules, at least not much beyond, “i before e except after c”. That is probably due to the “except” clause that followed so many of those rules!

Fortunately there are resources like Purdue OWL. I have used that site often in the past to find specific rules. After looking through the information provided for this class, I can see that Purdue OWL has a plethora of pages with easy to find information. I expect I will be using it very often! My only question is, if I find my reference format on Purdue OWL, will it always match the APA guidelines? Or should I verify the format in the APA guide, in which case I should just use the APA guide and not take time with Purdue OWL?  Hmmmm…
